The Turbosmart StraightGate40 Pneumatic External Wastegate is the most compact butterfly-style external wastegate in the Turbosmart range, designed for applications where installation space is limited without compromising boost control or flow. Its 40 mm zero-offset butterfly valve delivers exceptional exhaust flow and near-linear boost control across the entire operating range.
Using a self-balancing butterfly valve, the StraightGate40 reduces the force required for actuation under high exhaust drive pressure, allowing an exceptionally wide tuning window. Supplied with 6 psi base springs, the GenV pneumatic actuator supports both single and twin-port boost control for maximum tuning flexibility.
