How Shipping Works @ Speed Science

We have worked hard to secure extremely competitive courier rates and we work to dispatch orders as fast possible with most orders being dispatched within 1-2 days.

As soon as your order is collected by our couriers you will receive an e-mail with track and trace info. These e-mails sometimes end up in spam boxes - please check there before checking with us.

Any customs and taxes that apply to your country will have to be paid by the customer and not by Speed Science. Speed Science has no liability to pay the customs and taxes. 

In Stock Products/Orders
These are dispatched immediately (if an order is all in-stock products).

Special Order Products/Orders
Shipping time frames are listed on the product page & shipping costs for various shipping methods will appear in the checkout. PLEASE ensure you select your shipping method carefully to ensure you get the product when you need it.

Overseas Customs Duties/Taxes Payable

If you are ordering from outside of New Zealand your order value may reach a customs payment threshold in your country - the threshold is different for each country. Speed Science has no responsibility or liability to pay any local customs fees or taxes applied in the destination country. At checkout the order is processed as tax free (no NZ GST applied) for any orders shipping outside of New Zealand. 

If the local customs fee or duty is not paid by the named receiver of the order in a timely manner, the order will be returned to Speed Science.

If this occurs the following charges will be applied/deducted to the refund for the order:

  • Standard restocking fee of 20% of product value for the order.
  • All shipping for the procurement of the order as calculated at order checkout.
  • All associated shipping costs for the return of the order from the destination country to Speed Science.
Additional Terms for a refund to be processed;
  • The product has to be received by Speed Science before a refund will be processed.
  • The returned product is to be 'as new' and salable as a new part e.g. unmarked, in packaging.
