Many months and \u003cgwmw class=\"ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-2\" id=\"gwmw-15739885933265421451153\"\u003eman\u003c\/gwmw\u003e hours of development have gone into this product to achieve our three main objectives:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n\u003cul\u003e\n \u003cli\u003eIncrease power and torque output\u003c\/li\u003e\n \u003cli\u003eImprove the sound characteristics of the engine note\u003c\/li\u003e\n \u003cli\u003eImprove the visual impact of the engine bay\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\n\n\u003cp\u003eDuring our testing, we found that the location of the original air box was susceptible to a vast amount of heat soak. This is because the \u003cgwmw class=\"ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-3\" id=\"gwmw-15739885957131615225102\"\u003eairbox air\u003c\/gwmw\u003e feed is placed directly above a very hot source of heat - the radiator. This led us to design and relocate where the air filter\/\u003cgwmw class=\"ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-1\" id=\"gwmw-15739885963916737517499\"\u003eairbox\u003c\/gwmw\u003e \u003cgwmw class=\"ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-3\" id=\"gwmw-15739885963915521232057\"\u003eis housed\u003c\/gwmw\u003e in the engine bay. The Forge cold air intake system now cleverly draws air from within the Suzuki Swifts front bumper keeping the intake temperatures extra cool in any climate. After extensive testing, we found that our carbon \u003cgwmw class=\"ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-1\" id=\"gwmw-15739885979992766195555\"\u003efibre\u003c\/gwmw\u003e canister filters worked the best. The filter element itself is provided by \u003cu\u003e\u003ca href=\"http:\/\/www.pipercross.net\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ePipercross\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/u\u003e, and is fully serviceable or replaceable if necessary. A replacement can be found \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.forgemotorsport.co.uk\/Replacement_Filter_for_FMINDK29_FMINDK32_and_FMINDK34--product--2280.html\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ehere\u003c\/a\u003e. The \u003cgwmw class=\"ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-1\" id=\"gwmw-15739885995901675484049\"\u003epipe work\u003c\/gwmw\u003e of the kit runs around the cold side of the engine and away from the \u003cgwmw class=\"ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-3\" id=\"gwmw-15739885995904025928603\"\u003eengines\u003c\/gwmw\u003e turbo manifold; this again is to keep intake temperatures down as low as possible. In total, we observed intake temperatures fall from 39°C down to 26°C.
