In factory form its ugly, bulky, and routed inefficiently. Often in the way of other components. You will cut the feed hard line back about 6\" inches to match the return hard line length. This provides a nice tidy look and gives the filter a new mounting location. Keeping the Stock FPR \u003cb\u003e(CB-N-KASRF)\u003c\/b\u003e and integrating an aftermarket external FPR \u003cb\u003e(CB-N-KASR-FPR)\u003c\/b\u003e.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eStock FPR kit has 3 hoses. The feed line routes from the hard line to the inline fuel filter. The inline filter mounts directly to the frame rail on an existing threaded bolt hole and supplied rubber insulated clamp. From there it goes directly to the fuel rail inlet using different adapters per your entered specs. The return line is easy enough, attaching from the pressure regulator output to the hardline.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eThe Aftermarket FPR Kit changes the design to integrate the FPR and adds 3 adapters needed for the FPR to attach the lines to. The aftermarket FPR kit does not work with 2 port type, just the 3 port type. It mounts on the driver side shock tower just in front of the master cylinder (see photo below). It is a \"dead head\" setup which means the FPR is pre-fuel rail. Many kits have the FPR after the fuel rail which makes for 1 extra fuel line and more engine bay clutter. Chase Bays specializes in fixing clutter.
